Matthew Hunt Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 My second video from this evening's training session! I never trained CCS that much, but 2016 will be the year I master it. This gripper is slightly easier than my CoC 2.5 (not calibrated but I can tell from the difficulty of the close) so I will utilize this gripper for CCS working sets until I get stronger. This evening after my MMS working sets, I completed 3 sets with this gripper: 2 sets of 1 and 1 set of 3, with 1 reset. I think the CCS close for the CoC #3 is in reach I just need to completely destroy it, over and over again. Perfect practice makes perfect. I will be purchasing the level 7 next pay period and will utilize that as my goal gripper. Happy New Year everyone! Lets smash those goals! 7 Quote Certs: MM0 & MM1 (#70 - 4/20/2011) 2018 Goals: Stop being a pussy

Matthew Hunt Posted January 2, 2016 Author Posted January 2, 2016 Thanks DW! Definitely a good gripper to use with CCS training. I feel as though the CCS work will increase my crushing grip strength. Quote Certs: MM0 & MM1 (#70 - 4/20/2011) 2018 Goals: Stop being a pussy

PeterSweden Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Maybe you shouldn't show the card like that. Someone might see all digits and take your money. 3 Quote Grip goals for 2016 - we'll see how many of these I can cross off; Grippers; Cert GHP7, CCS 140, 146, 153 and 157lbs CoC3, MMS and 20mmBS 180lbs CoC3,5. Fist of Fury Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Yes, definitely get a setting card from Cannon on the next order. Nice close by the way! Quote
Chuck Hench Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Nice close! That looked pretty easy for you. Quote

Thankfully, that is a cancelled card, but I totally agree. I went ahead and taped up the card for future video appearances lol. Quote Certs: MM0 & MM1 (#70 - 4/20/2011) 2018 Goals: Stop being a pussy
Matthew Hunt Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 Nice close! Strange that its easier than coc2,5, my ghp6 is between coc2,5 and coc3. Yea! That's what I figured this gripper would feel like... I can definitely tell the difference. The 2.5 I have might be a bit out of the ordinary lol. Fist of Fury Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Nice close! Strange that its easier than coc2,5, my ghp6 is between coc2,5 and coc3. I got a GHP6 in the mail today and it rated at 128 lbs. Felt easier than both my #2.5's. I think more GHP6's are under 130 lbs nowdays and the #2.5's seems to be higher than before. Quote

KapMan Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 CCS is no joke, tried with my 2.5 127# and wasn't quite there. You and I have the same plan as far as CCS training is concerned. You made that GHP6 look like a trainer bro, sweet close. Quote
