Thick Grip Pull Up Face-Off! (Video)

Recommended Posts

I routinely train with a local gymnast, and we've been working our grip along with regular street workout stuff.

He didn't back down when I challenged him to a weighted pull up duel... With the added challenge of it being on thick bars.

Here's a video of our battle to the death:

Haha...great video man. You owned him on the thick bar.

The only way I could do this would be if someone was off camera pushing my feet up or if gravity was turned off for a little bit.

Thanks for the comment, btw! You and Sclero were the first to comment until I had to replace the video.

Great video. The three camera angles is serious.

Great little film Yori, easily one of the best grip-centric videos I've seen!

Also, really strong...I wish I could do those thickbar pull-ups with 35 ounces attached to me let alone 35 lbs lol!

Fantastic and fun video . . . and man that is some serious grip power to do that! Kudos.
