Dagars Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Does anyone know of any grip contests happening in the UK in late 2015 or 2016. Failing that, who would be the best person involved in this forum to ask. By the way, I don't want to compete, just spectate... COC#2.5 and 18kg on the hub won't quite cut it I don't think!! Thanks guys/gals Quote
anwnate Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 http://www.davidhorne-gripmaster.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=8 BTW. You should compete regardless. Get the experience. I came in dead last in my first contest, but learned a ton. I also had a great time. 2 Quote Current Goal: Train consistently...consistently. "Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies." - Stephen King "Grip-ology is the study of pressure and time. That's all it takes really...pressure...and time. That, and a big goddamn poster." - "Red" "The most productive and the most difficult thing about grip training is waiting until your body is ready to train again." - me "We're not here to put another tool in your tool box. We're here to clean out your garage." - Adam T. Glass "Nearly all the satisfaction comes from battling and overcoming your opponent. Having them simply yield to you...leaves little to savor". - me "Get disappointed go smash them tomorrow! What right do they have to make you feel like crap all week?" - Jason Steeves "maybe you just lack natural awesomeness?" - Brent Barbe "We've got to preach the grip gospel." - Jared Goguen
Dagars Posted November 6, 2015 Author Posted November 6, 2015 David Horne - of course. Thanks for reminding me - I will register on his site. As for competing - you never know - I might make it my new years resolution. Thanks again Craig Quote
