Squeezus
Finally got some plates at home to use with my new 2" FBBC V-Bar. Critiques welcome! https://youtu.be/laLSgzkC5Kc
Evan Raftopoulos
impressive Gil! Your technique looks good too. Send your video to Andrew from FBBC to find out for sure if those are good lifts. From what I know your first attempt definately passes (271 lbs ?) at least according to me, I think you are already in the top 10 based on that lift( http://www.fatbastardbarbellco.com/2INCHVBARCERTS.html ). The second one (281?) the bar slips on the way down and I think same with the 3rd attempt. But based on your performance you'll get very close to 300 lbs if not more very soon. Amazing grip strength brother!
Hubgeezer
Not sure if I have ever seen anyone do so well the first time on that implement. Outstanding.

It's good to know that I have a good base for V-Bar work. I hope that I can improve the lift over time and maybe even chase down Adam Glass' record someday. Hopefully, my scale gets here today and I can weigh all my implements.
Squeezus
Just got my scale in the mail and weighed all of the plates. Going with the lightest possible combination of plates that I have (according to what I can see in the video), the three weights in the video are as follows: 278.4# 289.6# 294.7#

bencrush
Fantastic 2" vbar pulls! Especially for a first time!!! Super impressed and more than a bit jealous of your starting point on this lift. You are definitely a vbar natural. Now I want you to buy a 1" vbar and go after that record too.

Andrew P
That is super impressive lifting. For a first time that's even more remarkable. Send in a video that you want judged and I'll add you to the list. The first lift was a pass but the second one was visably slipping out of your hand. Still crazy impressive that it came off the ground at that weight.

Thanks, I will definitely get a 1" V-Bar before too long. I'm slowly building up my collection. Very impressive! Thank you! That is super impressive lifting. After I get finished crushing the MM2 when it arrives, I will do another session with the V-Bar and will be able to weigh the whole rig. Hopefully, I can hit 300#. The session in the video was 2 days after a very heavy gripper session and 1 day after a very heavy hub session. We will just have to see
