Inch Lift Balancing Cans For Almost 10 Seconds!

Wasn't quite as long as I wanted (that's why I sat on it for about six weeks), but need a break from intense Inch work until it cools down later in the year. Was thinking if I died in my sleep tonight I'd want this video public because I'm proud of it.

<^ not surprised...I get to see it every week. Now if you only took the same "what if I die in my sleep" approach to your adjustable thick bar vids :)

James, the Inch means more to me than other lifts. The ATB has helped my finger strength for the Inch and I highly recommend it.

I have to agree with James on this one Bob as your adjustable thick bar is world class (if not a world record) especially for your wieght.

Thanks guys, especially those who've tried the Inch and know how difficult it is for most of us. I still have some days where I can't get a full lift. Guess it's like the Blob or a lot of other feats that you work at before getting (if that applies to you): you get your first lift, then you might take awhile to get an even better lift, then you might start getting one occasionally, then more frequently, then one or or more good lifts on most days and eventually you can get it most of the time. I would like to get to the point I am with my 135 lb. Inch, at least to the degree where I can lift the 172# Inch at most any time, but that will take some time. Right now I do get one or or more good lifts and holds on most days-usually can tell how it is going to go by the feel of the handle before an attempt is even made.

Training w/ the cans on top is helpful, but can be very frustrating as I've been really locked in on a hold, only to have a single can blown off by a gust of wind, brushing against my clothing, or an unknown reason. I will try to add a couple seconds to this lift between next October and April, as I feel stronger in wet and cool weather.
