Thanks so much, guys. It was a really cool experience. I won't lie, I was afraid that I was gonna get a freak 167# 3.3" spread gripper and blow a gasket trying to close it, but this one was pretty average. I will send it to be rated this weekend, I am curious where it lies. I would guess 145ish. The spread on it was about the same as my 148lbs #3. I was prepared for a bit more, which is why the close was quick. Kent also had an old single-stamp #3 that I CCSed twice (had to do it a second time because he couldn't see the first close) just for the hell of it. He said no one had ever closed it and it was pretty damned hard. I'll post a video of that when I get it from my friend. I guess now I will maybe do one more heavy MMS session before NAGSC, then start working up to close my 181lbs #3.5 while I wait for the MM1 to be mailed to me.
