Andrew P
I know a bunch of guys in the USA are looking to order David Hornes shallow hub. I would be willing to order several of them and distribute around the US. That way we can combine on the shipping from the UK. With my quick math if 4 people are interested this would be a way to save some money.
Chez
Sounds like a great idea. Like Jedd has done for the Vulcan. I'm interested.
Strongmanpharmd
3/16" board rings I whipped up yesterday...2 rings is a perfect 3/4" hub. Not quite as nice as an entirely new hub but beats beats buying another one! Edited May 11, 2015 by Strongmanpharmd
Andrew P
I trained that way for years and it works great. For contest purposes it has to be the shallow hub. Also the Shallow Hub is raw steel so the feel is a bit different then a painted one.
JaredWith1R
Does anyone happen to have exact dimensions for the shallow hub?

Jose Cabrera
Sand paper, my IM hub is sanded, gives you some more umph when you grab the powder coated one.
Andrew P
Looks like I alread have enough interested to move forward. I'm going to let this thread run till Friday then I'll place the order on Saturday. Just PM me with that your interested and if you need the loading pin or not. Remember the grip tops bolt to the loading pin so other pins will not work.
Tank Andrade
Andrew any thought to grabbing some meat hooks ?
Andrew P
Sure I guess anything from David would be ok. Other than euro's those are heavy and we can get them from Jedd. I'll split up the shipping by weight.
James Retarides
I would like to get a Levertop
Evan Raftopoulos
James, I remember landing on a youtube vid of you doing 91 lbs with the levertop when I was looking into getting one. That's crazy, is it the world record? Perhaps now is my chance to get one. It says the loading pin is not included but the one that works with the shallow hub should do, right? Mike Sharkey
Sand paper, my IM hub is sanded, gives you some more umph when you grab the powder coated one. BTW I soaked that hub in a bleach solution for a week to see if I could get it to pit and rust
James Retarides
Thanks Evan, I am at around 108lbs ( https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=E4RyC1-nmE4) now and had sufficient air with 110 lbs. i trained it fairly consistently for months but it leaves my tendons hating me for weeks
