JaredWith1R
I couldn't find a post for info on the 5th WSH this August 1st, 2015. Here is the info: http://www.davidhorne-gripmaster.com/gripcontestsforthcoming.html The 5th World's Strongest HandsSaturday 1 August, 2015Events:1. Meat Hook Deadlift2. Two Hands Pinch Lift3. It says for time, so is that a prescribed weight for all competitors? Or do you choose a weight, then your total score comes from a combination of weight and time? Thanks, I'm looking forward to (hopefully) attending this contest and meeting some other great athletes.

Hopefully this topic will continue to be useful, and not just end with 1 questions.
Cannon
I misread the title as like "Hey, I didn't make the podium, but I have like the 5th strongest hands."
Lucasraymond
Why is there no 93k class?
Eric Roussin
David Horne typically switches up the weight classes from year to year for this event. i suspect this is done so that the same classes don't go unrepresented every year.
Lucasraymond
If there is that many locations then there should be a fairly good representation for every weight class....just my opinion but maybe there is a heavy number some classes versus others. Not a biggie just curious is all!
Jedd Johnson
It's a good point... The 93k & 105k classes are quickly becoming the most competitive classes. By not having one of them, you can really have a profound effect on lots of lifters' performances.

Not a biggie just curious is all! Totally agree with Luke and Jedd, all weight classes should always be included. It will always help promote the sport with the wide variety of classes. I assume the problem is if there are too few competitors, everyone could be competing alone in their weight class. I think event results should be sorted by their actual weight class regardless of how the competition was run, not sure if this is already how it works or not, just a thought. mobsterone
That has occurred in the IAWA competitions.
Jedd Johnson
Historically, not all the weight classes are held in this event. I believe David just picks one as a divider, but I don't remember what the selection process is.
