Roark
When Brian Schoonveld was here in my driveway manhandling my three thickbar bells, he dropped them on the roadpack (rock) and chipped some paint. I thought about slapping him, then realized my insurance did not cover lifetime stupidity Anyway, in prep for the August challenge in St, Joseph, Illinois, I repainted the trio: 152 Inch green, 172 Inch red, and the MB chrome. That MB is unbelieveable!
terminator
Awesome! Great color choices. Nice to be able to drop those from high enough to chip em....
OldGuy
I like better, red white and blue with teflon handles and an image of Bin Laden to drop the bells onto.
Roark
I tried to pick colors that would show contrast to the lifter's bare leg, or his pant color. Not many lifters wear these colors so the contrast should show during the lift. If we are going with the Laden photo, then I'll convert my bells to resemble Albert Attilla's bell which weighed about 220 lbs and the "globes of which were generously studded with iron spikes". Jonathan McMillan
If chrome wasn't so darn cool looking, I'd suggest a similar paint scheme to the bag o nails colour code. Jon@han
