kwakamoto
Hi there I am interested to know what the difference between these two products are? The reason I am swayed towards the straps is because of the fact that i assume the silver bullet can cause damage to the surface of the grippers knurling. I haven't experimented with either item so I will be happy to hear anyone's thoughts.
Jose Cabrera
Flip a gripper upside down and ots the same as the SB, for the strap get out an old belt and done.
kwakamoto
Cool, I'll try both ideas and see what the feels like
Lucasraymond
Actually the gripper handles and the silver bullet falling cause damage to the silver bullet but being the inside of the handle there is minimal to no function to the knurling on the inside other than sticking to a silver bullet or strap. If you plan on competing in an event with silver bullet I would recommend getting one or use another gripper upside down.
bwwm
Depends on what you are training for. If you are doing strapholds, then just get some old denim, belt, anything that you can tie or affix weight to. If you are looking to do silver bullet training, then as folks mentioned above, use an inverted gripper, or something similar. In terms of what will help your gripper-work, I think the strapholds are more beneficial, but that's just my opinion and based on my own personal observations. I have rarely trained for SB holds.
