Matt Van Weele
I was at a friends yesturday and he has York DB's the kind blobs are made of. Theres no way in hell he will ever let me cut any up so I was lifting the heaviest one he had a 80, with both hands like I was lifting two blobs and it was fairly easy. How would that compare if they were cut apart like actuall blobs. Could I still lift a 40 blob or not?
HAMMERHEAD
I would think it would be harder cut up. I have two 40lb york blocks and I have to focus to deadlift them both at the same time. There are York db's at my work. I'll try lifting a whole 80lber and see if there is a difference. BTW ask your buddy if you could buy him replacement hex dumbells so you could work with the York shaped blocks. -HH
bseedot
I don't know if you could still lift a 40, but it is easier lifting them with the handle still attached. BC.
