Matt Van Weele Posted May 30, 2003 Share Posted May 30, 2003 I know chrome is quite slicker than than just a normal type of finish like the blob has. So I'm guessing the it would be bit harder. Has anyone ever tried chroming a blob? Can you chrome something shaped like the blob? Could anyone lift a chrome plated blob? Or would it just be to slick. gazza Posted May 31, 2003 Share Posted May 31, 2003 Matt The 2 blobs that i got made/machines outa steel and then polished,are a lot harder than the standard blob,i have left them outside to rust up a little as ,as they were very slick,plus the extra 8pounds might also have somethin to do with it I would only get one chromed to keep it looking nice,but it would then become unliftable.
