Cannon Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Guys, Hercules is on sale right now for dirty-rotten cheap. 35 bones. Which is how many you'd break in your body trying to close it. http://cannonpowerworks.com/collections/tetting/products/grip-strength-tetting-hercules (The ones we have right now have ONE pin on each handle.) Justin Matney Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Wow. I'm guessing the spring would break the handles far before it closed. Haha Quote
Jared Goguen Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) It's really tempting to take the handles off mine, put it in my giant vise and see how much force it takes to make it move. Edited January 20, 2015 by Jared Goguen Quote My YouTube channel - grip, and shop projects.

I like how you said "make it move" instead of "close it". I'd bet its in the multiple thousands of pounds to see even 1/4" of movement. Haha yeah, my 'big' produces 65,000PSI so if I clamp it in that it's not going anywhere. I bet I could make it move with a 4' cheater bar and me hanging from it. Cannon Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 I just wanted to clarify that any Tetting grippers listed as "sold out" on the site are actually gone. I'm getting a lot of inquiries about Hercules and, sorry, they are all gone. Quote

eastNYgoon Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 So glad I bought one a month ago. A little piece of grip history. The double loop spring is pretty unique. 1 Quote "I'm a Groucho-Marxist, because whatever it is, I'm against it."
Cannon Posted May 30, 2015 Author Posted May 30, 2015 We got more of these in the package today!! They are up on the site. (Not on sale anymore though due to the rarity.) Quote
Sam Scott Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Received mine. Can't say that the 3/4" Al handles really match this gripper well. Anything more than 300lbs on a RGC device will almost shear the handles off.Tetting probably should of went with 1" solid steel handles. Quote
