Ironhorse™ Wrench

Have any of you guys trained with the PDA Ironhorse™ WRENCH? I understand people are into facets of training like claw curling, but I was wondering how useful a tool the WRENCH would be?

From what I hear, the Wrench itself would seem like a good workout, or great as a finisher done like a farmers walk. It seems like it would strengthen the whole forearm, and the wrenching effect would bring in the benefits of lever work(or so I'd imagine). Just looking into the general opinion of this knowledgable page. :bow

Let me know what you guys think! Ive already talked to John at PDA and hes been very helpful, but Im after general grip board consensus.

Cheers boys and girls!

Pathum.

:D I have one and it does give your grip/forearms a good workout if you walk a considerable distance with it. I was walking around on a 1/4 mile track and it gave my hands and forearms a nice workout. I think you could use anything similar and get the same results if you don't want to spend the money. The cost of equipment can be expensive but if you have the know how and are creative enough you might come up with a similar device or idea that works as good. My opinion about it is it does give a good workout to both your grip/forearms. Good Luck Edited by python

If your looking for wrist strength you wouldn't be going wrong here.

I bought the Turk. It's very good. It is a bumbell but I can grab the sleeve and get a "Wrench" effect as well.

Thanks for the feedback.

Id be ready to get the Wrench at the drop of a hat, given its price, but the only available shipping and handling costs make the actual cost 3 times the purchase price of the Wrench.

What could I do to emulate having a Wrench? I certainly dont have the know how or the tools to build it from scratch, but if you guys could give me details on say excercises that are similiar?

Thanks!
