Fatboy250
Could you also have a section for the biggest lifts where grip is involved? Maybe something like: Heaviest pinch at different widths? Ex. (R. Sorin 4" 100lb anvil.) Heaviest deadlift 2.25", 2", 2.5", 2.75", 3" and so on Dumbbell or Barbell? Maybe the Millenium lifts would fall into this catagory. I'd be interested to know. Jason There's no plan for it right now. Let's see how things pan out. It can get out of control. Some lists are short already. I don't want to water it down. OldGuy
Wannagrip is right. There are an infinite number of grip feats that could be conjured up . It would get out of hand. Perhaps people creating an original feat on a piece of equipment they made, and then claiming a record. Grip feats must not get out of hand because then it's no longer grip. What about standards like the IM pinch block or the IM hub and so on. Jason
Sybersnott
Jason, The one-handed pinch record belongs to Mac Batchelor - 162 pounds. It is listed as the greatest feat of hand strength ever in terms of points in the book by Dale Harder, "You CAN Compare Apples To Oranges (Sports Comparisons)". Fatboy250
Thanks. That's the kind of stuff I was asking about. Jason.
EricMilfeld
I do think you should include 2x45 plate pinch, Wannagip, if nothing else. Perhaps note if the pincher can do it with both hands, as well. It would give me an extra push to hurry up and do it!
