Just Hit 200 Lbs On The 2hp

Got home from work a little early today so I wanted to try and redeem myself after 2 bad grip workouts I had in-a-row....mostly due to condensation forming on all of my implements the last two weekends.

I trained hub and 2hp today and had a very modest pr on my personal hub setup, still shy of my contest lifts by about 4 pounds, but my hub feels very slick to me most of the time, but that's not the big news.

Everything felt really good on the 2hp today as I went through my warm-up sets so I went ahead and tried for a nominal 10 lb pr and got it! It ended up weighing 8 lbs over my last pr of 192 lbs and came out exactly at 200 lbs.

I'm pretty dang happy with this performance, so thanks for taking a look!

This lift was done on a 50mm pinch block with a Sorinex loading pin.

Good job man, I was silently racing you to #3, 300 axle, and 200 pinch. You took the cake.

Thanks Yori!

Of course I do weigh about 100 more lbs than you, lol, so I'm glad I got you at one of those! < <

The race to 300 on the axle isn't officially over between us, and while I have closed my 145 lb number 3 a hand full of times I definitely can't do it on command or even on video so you may get me on the MM0 yet!

Only time will tell man!

Man, awesome!!! Pushing 100kg soon!!

Thanks Josh!

Dude, 100 kilos would be incredible...hopefully someday!

You are only 20lbs away ;) is your 1hp around 90-100?

Oddly enough my best 1hp on this exact same setup is only 76 lbs (tested 2 months ago)...I'm not really sure why its not closer to half my best 2hp. I've had a limited discussion about this in an older thread I made, but the short answer is...I don't really have a clue why lol.

Thanks man, you should definitely give some pinching a try and see where your at...I know I'm curious to see what you could pull!

Big lift, 200# pinching is no joke

Thank you very much!

Very nice job.

Thanks!

Congrats dude. 200 is a big milestone.

Thank you very much Chez! 200 lbs has been the goal I set for myself since I entered my first contest back I think in May. I just need to get to a contest with 2hp for max weight in it and see how I do on an official Euro setup!

Nah!

Too funny EJ!

I don't wan't you to bust out any pinch gripping........you'll just end up making me look bad when you out lift me cause I actually train my grip lol.

But seriously though, thanks man, and I hope you do show us a little pinching cause I am curious to see where your base level actually is.
