Old Dax
I noticed there was a brief conversation some time ago about 'twist grippers' where one (or sometimes both) of the handles rotate about their long axis, Did anyone try the Zoeun rainbow coloured ones from Korea; I know Mighty Joe got some (also known as ecoliz?) but cant find a review or rating. BTW I just ordered one out of curiosity...
ultimatemk309
What color did you order? I wouldn't mind trying one out, but I'm not sure how much more difficult the twisting handle would make it.
Old Dax
I ordered a purple (I was tempted to add more, but wanted to see what quality / feel was like) I currently can close a CoC on good days, but not rep it yet. The purple is rated at ~69kg (~152lb) but this is tested nearer to the middle of the handle (CoC#2 is ~106lb at the end as an RGC rating). I asked Mighty Joe for his opinion (after ordering) he says they are well engineered and that I should be able to rep the gripper. It will be interesting to see how my left hand copes with it (left hand can do ~5 reps on my CoC #1.5) I am really looking forward to receiving it. Brad L
I've seen these on eBay. Is that where you ordered from? I was debating ordering an orange one to give it a try.

Get the gold! it will challenge you. The others will not unless you are new to grippers and grip.

If so, how did it feel? How difficult was it to close?
capone30
I ordered a gold rainbow ecoliz gripper and did not realize they make a normal non twist version of them which is what I recieved and it is very nice and would say it feels about in the 114 to 120 pound range compared with my other grippers in this range.I will now order a twist version grey which I'm guessing will be about 105 range maybe.Twist grip is model tg-r202 and reg is model Att-R101 in case you want a normal gripper version. Very nice gripper overall in quality and packaging.

Brad L
I ended up ordering an orange twist gripper and it arrived today. I should have taken Joe's advice and gone with the gold. I can easily rep this gripper. It maybe took a few closes to get used to the handle twisting. The quality is excellent and it came very well packaged. The knurl and handle design is very similar to CoC grippers. They're a bit pricey at ~$32 but I think it's a unique addition to my collection. I likely will pick up the grey and gold grippers. Old Dax
I went through ebay too, I can get a few reps with the purple and find it challenging: it seems to be more difficult to fully close if I let the gripper handle roll into my hand (twist handle at fingers) I've ordered an orange now, I'll probably get the grey ang the gold too. Brad L
I don't see any currently for sale on eBay. I purchased "Ecoliz Rainbow Twist Hand Grips" from the seller "excellentcastle". I did not pay any import fees.
Old Dax
I went through an ebay account called 'lovelypeople' though they don't seem to do them anymore (if I search for Ecoliz Rainbow Twist Grippers nothing come up from anybody). The brand marked on the packaging was Zoeun Sports, see picture, I guess these only come up every now and again? Shame as I fancy getting the rest. As far as I was concerned they were not expensive ($20, after conversion and postage I paid less than £21, wich is about normal for a decent gripper) Oh and no import fees on either.
