Tonight's Bending

I now have a workout bending log to track my attempt at bending the gold nail. I'm going to start trying to bend twice a week now instead of once a week and see how that goes.

My only real PR of the night was 3/8 by 8 and 3/8 inch hot rolled steel in thinner pads tonight. The cordura was only about 70 percent as thick as last workouts and I got the bend in about 2 minutes. I made some bad judgement decisions on what to try and bend so I kind of wasted a lot of my energy on ISOs.

These are all unbraced double overhand stye. That's my new focus.

I can and still do a little braced bending but it's not my passion right now.

Good to see you too Tim! Good to see some of us experienced steel benders still kicking butt and twisting steel!

I hear you man. We've bent a lot of steel over the years and I'll never forget the spike scroll contest. Still one of my all-time favorite "events" even though you won that one.

By the way, which watch did you end up chosing?
