what do you consider as a proper rest time between sets
whether it's high/low volume set
and if you are doing negatives do you take rest between each rep or for example after a set of 5 negatives

When I lift 3-5 reps 2 sets as heavy as possible. 2-3 seconds up 3-5 seconds down. Rest 3-4 minutes between sets. Enough time to drink and stretch.

Lol. An inside joke between me and a mod that was on the BB. It pissed him off, he pm'd me, called me and emailed me about it. I think he actually changed it one time on me. It was fun.

1/2 mins for high rep stuff

3 mins for 4/5 rep stuff

5 mins for 1 rep max attempts

thanks for the reply , but i was actually asking about grippers routine not weight lifting

Sorry bro. You want to post this in the sub-forum labeled "gripboard". This is strength training and power. Most think weights and stuff.

You also don't want to train to failure either. That is another big reason for injury. So stay warm but also leave some in the tank, and be able to gain something back on your break.
