At a bodyweight of 147 pounds! I end up getting 2 1/2 reps! I was aiming for a personal record of 3 reps!

Plate curls are one of the best exercises you can do for your hands. Keep it up, I've found that regular plate curls induce constant PRs. Holds for time at strict angles also really toughen the tendons.

Yes indeed! I try doing the 25 pound plate using my thumb and 2 fingers! You will feel the pressure in the finger joints! Thanks! I love doing isometric training!

Just be careful - listen to your body. Plate curls put your wrist tendons in a vulnerable position. Stay within your limits to increase your limits in this exercise.

I got ya! What does the wrist plate curl carry-over, will help if you want to perform some feats of strength?

It will in just about every aspect; 2 hand pinch and lifting the inch are both very wrist strength intensive. Your overall hand strength will increase across the board if you work this movement regularly.

Thanks for sharing! I'm working toward pinching 3 25s! I never train with using chalk! I notice it help increase your lift?
