Wide Pinching

Who here can handle 5-10s-with the outside ones smooth side out-in the pinch?

I have been unsuccessful in this forever-until today.

Picked them up in both hands.

They really try their hardest to get away from you!

Yes I have done 5-10's before I think 7 would be very hard

Rick,

I did 4 - 10's a long time ago, but never tried 5 of them.

To be done with one hand like pinching a pair

of 25's or 35's etc... you are pinching 5 10's

with one hand

Never tried 5. Only have 4 x 5kg plates :blush

Can do that though.

How wide are 5 of your 10lb plates??

About 4.5 inches for 5 of mine. But-the width and weight isnt the problem-it is the plates pulling apart at the bottom that sucks!

Because the diameter of the plates is so small, width may well be the problem - getting your fingers down as far you can (to stop the plates pulling apart at the bottom) IS affected by the width across the top (top marks for observation on my part, I know...).

Emsquared - I imagine 6 would be hard enough, let alone 7....
