macaz
I have noticed that thick bar work kills my gripping with grippers. I have found that thick bar work enhances my blob work. Blob work does not seem to affect the grippers I have also found. Any one have an explanation as why this is?
macaz
if i do them on the same day, im horrid on grippers after the axle. but i do see gains on both, if i do thickbar one week, then grippers the next... crazy. Are you saying It is better if you do thickbar one week and then grippers on the next week?
bwwm
I do quite a bit of bar work, between swinging/snatching kettlebells, pull-ups (bw & weighted), and deadlifts. I've found I really need to place grippers on the right day of the week to take advantage of downtime so I can hit grippers or axle holds with good effect. I've been doing 2 grip workouts a week. I need to skip a workout or two every now and then to let the muscles regroup.
daniel reinard
Rich, I experience the same as you. And actually axle seems to be a great warmup for all pinching, hubs blobs etc.
