KRC
Just got a set of GripTopz including the adj. thick bar. The attachments all have a pretty heavy black residue on them that comes off on the hands very easily. My first thought it to just wipe them down with water and maybe light soap and use chalk regularly from there, but was wondering if anyone has had experience with these or any similiar metal pieces that would be better in one way or another than soap? bwwm
When I get material from the metal supply store, I usually find I need to use some orange degreaser to truly get the protective oil/grease off the metal.
barbe705
I usually give everything a wipe down with alcohol and a rag. sometimes a couple of rags. i have used degreaser and then alcohol on occasion as well.
