Guest sjeff70
My new #3 CoC gripper came in the mail today! I have to say it feels easier than my #2 when it arrived and I tried it. I was looking over the new IM catalog and I began to wonder something when I noticed the new straphold straps they are selling. I was wondering...if you are within say, 1/4" or so from closing a gripper, why waste you time doing strapholds with a gripper you can close. Why not do strapholds with a gripper you can't close? Just use a 1/4" thick strap. The only reason I can see doing strapholds with a gripper you can close is when you have an inch or more before closing the next gripper up. What do you all think, is there any logic in this reasoning? Jeff
Mjoynt
I think that there is benefits to using both straps. The large one is good for using the gripper you're trying to close and the small strap assists in helping you close the last little bit.
