Roark
Sorry to take board space but if you subscribe to cyberpump, please PM me so I will know how much crossover there is from here to ironhistory.com Based on some comments here I perceive two possibilites: 1. You read ironhistory and do not accept the conclusions 2. You do not read it. Thanks, Joe
Tom Black
This is a little vague. There are many articles in Iron history with many conclusions. Most of the articles don't have conclusions at all. Can't some conclusions be accepted and others not?
Roark
Of course. I don't mind if people disagree if the disagreement is based on argument. Basically, I am wondering if there is any point in posting pieces if info about history here is the crossover is rare, which it appears to be. By the way, the Dinnie stones of today are several pounds lighter than in the old days-chips etc thru the years-Webster reported several pounds lighter- I don't have the book in front of me. Guest heman1
Roark, I like your material on ironhistory, what I don't like are the hard-to-read articles that need adobe acrobate. As far as agreeing on your conclusions, I don't have or know of any other sources on the history of the irongame. I appreciate your 'cliffnotes' on the board, so if just one person is worth it, keep it coming. Edited March 24, 2003 by heman1
Roark
Soon I will send original pages of those articles to Wannagrip, and ask that he re-scan them (if he thinks it will reproduce better. He used what I sent him which were photocopies. My mistake.
