xpin2winx
Basically its like this. you take a dense hard plastic cup or metal or something along those lines. - drill a hole in bottom of cup - Put a small amount of rope into hole and knot it or somehow rig it to where its locked into the cup. - Rig the end of the rope with weights - Pinch the top of cup with fingers
Cannon
Like a reverse anvil horn?
bencrush
Good one, but it's already been done. I rigged up the same thing last year with a metal glass that had similar dimensions to the Grip Topz Shallow Hub diameter. And I saw a similar setup almost 10 years ago at one of my first contests. Cannon
Well like Ben said you've got yourself a hub trainer on the cheap. Well done!
macaz
Good Idea. I like homemade ideas. You should draw some lines where your fingers don’t go past, or let the fingers go on all the way and add a lot of weight. You could also put your fingers inside the cup for extensor work! On my metal glass I duct taped a portion of the glass that wouldn't let me grip below 3/4" below the rim of the glass. And used almost an entire roll of duct tape to make sure my fingers didn't just overlap the tape to get more finger area on the glass. Legendofjd3
Goes without saying that ya probably shouldn't use a glass.
