I hope I didn't misunderstand. I saw the tweets again and they technically say that Andrew "demolished" the 3.5 and Vache "closed" the 3.5. I assumed they were certs. :). I'm sure there will be IM news.

Andrew, first, congrats on your certification. Can you maybe share some info on how you train your grip? You excel in a lot of areas, so how do you keep focus?

Again, very strong feat!

Thanks!

Big congratulations to Andrew and Vache !!

Step up to the Crushed-to-Dust! Challenge.

IronMind is extending the Crushed-to-Dust! Challenge to all comers as a way to standardize and measure grip prowess in a well-rounded group of tests. To meet the challenge and be certified, you must do all three of the following in an official contest according to the rules*:

  • close a No. 2 Captains of Crush Gripper
  • lift 45 lb. on a Hub-style Pinch Gripper
  • lift 200 lb. on the Rolling Thunder DL Handle

Congrats to all! Very impressive!

Good to hear that Clay is still around!

RT.

Clay also came over to the GNC booth and made a pretty convincing close of a GHP Level 8...a feat that Vache couldnt duplicate. In his defense he had to close the 3.5 a few times before he got the thumbs up from what he told me. I told Clay he should go try to certify on the 3.5, I'm not sure if he tried or not. I gave the gripper to Kevin Buyse - hopefully he will rate it.
