Rick Walker Posted March 17, 2003 Share Posted March 17, 2003 It all depends on what Elite you have. They all differ. Some arent much harder then a good #3 and others are 3.5 or higher! The silver spring elites are tough. Mine is a black spring and it is tougher then my #3s. I have recently closed mine quite easily with quarter inch exntensions. Bob Lipinski Posted March 17, 2003 Share Posted March 17, 2003 I had a gripper rated about 1/3 between a 3 and a 4 (not IP ratings), and my silver spring elite is much harder. 3.5 at least, and if your hands are small and sweep sucks, it can even be harder than the 4.
