Sybersnott
For those of you that can close the #1, but yet can't close a #2... I have a question for you. Do you have a #3 gripper? And if so, do you train with it as much as you do with the #1? I think having a #3 gripper is very important, as is, of course, having the #2 (a gripper you are training to close). HandsofStone
I'm looking into getting a #3 sometime in the future. I'm just going to stick with the trainer, #1 ,#2, and my grip machine for now. I've got a few more tricks up my sleeve to try out as well.
Jonathan McMillan
I'm working on shutting the #3 with assistance with my thigh or other hand....can't quite get it shut even this way The two will fall consistently shortly. Jon@han
mcolella
how do you suggest training with the #3? just negatives from as far closed as you can get the thing? I can barely get a #2 closed with both hands. I don't own a #3, but I would get one if it's a good idea to train with it.
endpoint
I am doing the KTA program at the moment, which yes requires that i use a #3 for negatives (its going very well might i add)
gollan
I have a #3 but I haven't started using it. I just started training on the #2 and can't even do a proper negative with it (especially the left hand). I figure another couple of weeks and I will be sorted out on the #2 negatives. Then I could be ready to start KTA!
Sybersnott
When I was training to close the #2, I worked with the #3. Having the #3 was a real help because I knew what I was up against and closing the #3 was my goal. This is why I ask the question.
tmmicklabs
Snot, I have the #T,#1,#2,#3 and #4. I was able to finally close my # 1 after a week on the KTA program. After 2 weeks of KTA I am down to the last 1/4 inch on the #2. Hope this answers your question.
jklove41
I have the 2 and the 3. I train mostly by closing the 2 against my leg. I do this 3 times per week for about 10 reps per arm. Occassionally, I will try to shut the 3 against my leg. Do you think I should add the 3 to my training?
