Jordan Rechsteiner
http://vimeo.com/33314716 It makes me sick how he is just one or two steps ahead of me despite brutal training that I undergo. mightyjoe
I have yet to see this guy close a gripper from a #3 up! I have no way of knowing who this hand belongs to. This is not proof to me. Sorry!!!

Jordan Rechsteiner
Well done Euclides! That is amazing. I hope you don't mind that I posted this video. I was going to ask your permission first but didn't and probably should have. As for me, I should have a #3.5 CCS around the 22nd. What are you doing negatives with these days? -Jordan

I bent a Red Nail in under 1 min for the first time a week and a half ago...... which ended up damaging the palm of my hand. Nothing serious, but I've since been laying off the negatives and just been doing MMS singles with the #3.5. for 7 reps. 3x a week. This sudden change in training has actually helped my grip...... so I'll stick with this a couple more weeks and then go back to my normal high volume training. Looking forward to seeing that CCS!! My reason for mentioning this is because you don't want any doubt as to your claims especially after all your hard work and dedication to achieve your goals. I think it was classy of Bill to accept your apology and move forward. This shows me he shares a common goal that we all do here at the GB and that's to help each other by sharing knowledge, motivating each other, giving positive criticism and feedback. It makes us ALL better!!! I won't be able to make the Arnold but I will be eagerly waiting to see the results of your MONSTROUS achievement in such a short period of time. Bill Piche
He did a great job of really using the leverages of proper hand placement with the gripper. Some text book setting in the hand if you ask me for the start for sure.
bwwm
Even if that hand is not connected to the body, somebody is well on their way to a #4 cert! I see no reason why that hand is not Euclides'.

All my setting skills are because of Paul Knight. His "how to set" video answers everything. One thing that I notice I use a lot more than most people is chalk. I put a CRAZY amount of chalk on my hands! I also chalk the handles till their white as snow. Edited December 9, 2011 by Euclides

bencrush
Very strong set and close Euclides! I hear you on the chalk. I don't think anyone has me beat as far as chalking the hands and the handles until they're white all the way to the spring.

silverbackgrip
Do i still log Silver? How does your routine look Like? High volume Like KTA? A week an a half ago I bent a red nail under 60 seconds for the first time, but I also damaged the inside of my palm in the process. Nothing serious, but I had to switch from high to low volume training. I've been doing heavy singles. 7 parallel reps with the #3.5 and I rest 5 min between each rep. I just CCS a #3 for the warm up. I do this 3 times a week. In a couple weeks I'll go back to my main workout Monday #3.5 for 5 singles. Rest 5 min between each rep. The first rep is parallel and I keep increasing the distance each rep until I get to a CCS. #3 (filed) for 5 sets of 3 reps @ 35mm. I go for explosive speed, closing the gripper as fast as possible. 5 minutes rest between each set #2.5 for 25 consecutive parallel reps. On the last rep, I hold it as long as I can. Wednesday This is just a "fun" day. Bend some nails Leverage some sledgehammers Pinch some dimes Friday #2 for 100 parallel reps.I go for time, takes me just under 10 min I don't own a Joe Kinney "secret weapon", so I use a Beef Builder Super Elite Extended Handle (crazy long name. lol) I do 60 negative reps with 4 min rest between each rep. When it comes to negatives, I follow Joe Kinney EXACTLY! He held each negative around 2 seconds, and he only started counting AFTER the handles were touching. He also said that if you feel a pump while doing negatives, your not resting long enough. This is by far the hardest workout of the week. I takes me over 4 hr to complete! I also treat every grip workout like its "leg day" at the gym. I always make sure I have at least 2 meals in me before I train grip. Also, during the workout I'm drinking a BCAA mix. The INSTANT my workout is done, I'm drinking 60grams of protein, 40 grams of carbs and 15 grams of Glutamine. Hope this helps!
