Bill Piche
All that is needed for this list is getting it off the ground at least a foot with either hand. Check in please!
Roark
Wannagrip, Requiring that the bell only leave the ground is similar to requiring that the handles of a #3 simply move toward each other a little, no?
OldGuy
Is that a replica or loadable or either?
Bill Piche
Wannagrip,Requiring that the bell only leave the ground is similar to requiring that the handles of a #3 simply move toward each other a little, no? I don't think so. Getting it off the ground is a pretty darn good feat IMO. Deadlifting it is more than pretty darn good. Lots of guys can move the 3 handles towards each other a little. LOTS! Not very many guys can get air under the Inch Replica with one hand. You watch how many here have gotten air under the Inch...
Bill Piche
The replica. No loadables. Yes, it will be limited by who has access to one. Oh well! There are 29 COC's on the list for this board. I would hazard a guess that it's less than half a dozen here who have at minimum gotten air under an Inch. So, again, I don't see how it compares to just moving the 3 handles a little Joe. And, I know for a fact, in owning one, that it's not "easier" than a full close of a 3. At least IMHO. Bill Piche
Ok, let's make that at least a foot off the ground to make it even harder to meet.
Bill Piche
Off the top of my head: Wade Gillingham Richard Sorin Heath Sexton Jim Wylie Mobster Nathan Holle David Horne John Wood Again, active Gripboard members.
Bill Piche
Joe, a better analogy might be a partial close of a #4.
Roark
Sorry, I have my glasses on now- I did not see the one foot distance requirement. Oops. I'm stuck at eleven inches
terminator
Bill, don't forget Mr. John Wood. I've seen him do it. It might be easier for some than a full close of a #3 (remember John's earlier post about a basketball player who could lift the inch but not close a #1). John Wood
Thanks for the mention Pat. Im not sure I fulfill the 1 foot requirement (yet).

So, there's the catch. I don't believe we have an 6'8" b-ball players on here. Remember, these postings are only for active gripboard members. OldGuy
I think it is fair to say that most of the top grip men are members.
The Mac
Did David Horne succeed in fully deadlifting 2 Inch replicas at the same time? I know the pictures show he got both someway up... Thanks in advance..
David Horne
Mac, No I haven't tried since because of all that has happened. But as my training keeps picking up I will be attempting a few things. David

Guest Chris Mellen
What is this feat? I do not understand. --Chris
The Mac
Lifting the Inch Challenge Dumbell (or a replica) over a foot off the ground with one hand. The dumbell is 172lb and has a thick handle. It is a simple feat (although, of course, not easy). What is hard to understand??
