Rampage jackson Posted October 31, 2011 Share Posted October 31, 2011 (edited) It's as worst as it sounds im losing my grip strength the problem is that i don't make more progress and even get weaker It lasted a month of training Every time I train I can do less and less reps my max reps is 16 no.1 coc Now I'm doing 1-5 no more somtimes less Must say I tried to rest a week did not help At first I thought overtraining but i don't think so i train only (twice) a week with 3 days rest between I have only one reason in the mind but i don't sure Because until now it was okay I train in the gym 3 times a week heavy bodybuilding training i don't deadlift only heavy bench press heavy dumbells you know.... my week of training look like this Sunday gym chest- biceps monday grippers Tuesday gym shoulder-legs Wednesday rest Thursday gym back-triceps Friday grippers Saturday rest Thanks to those who read all hope you will be able to help me! Cannon Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 Unless you're Adam Glass, you shouldn't have an expectation that your max reps would increase EVERY time you work out. Adam is invincible and should not be lumped together with the rest of mankind. If max reps are steadily declining over a month's worth of workouts--which I doubt that's true--then it's obvious you're not getting enough rest. Try a more intense workout once per week. Maybe include another element other than max reps on the #1. You could try timed holds, drop sets, over crushes, etc. There are lots of tools.
