25 Ccs Reps With Coc #2

Here's a video I got after work at 2:30am closing my CoC #2 with a CCS for 25 reps. I actually closed it 26 times but on one of them the credit card didn't fully go through the handles and I didn't notice it until just now when I re-watched the video so that one doesn't count. Also a few reps go off camera on the close but you can still hear the handles click so it's good enough for this...

I just did this video with the 2.5 this morning. My hands are a bit tight from last night's gripper workout but it's still a PR over last night. I'll just add this video here instead of starting a new thread for it.

The title for this topic should have read "Russ squeezes out 25 #2s in his bathroom" It would be accurate but misleading.

Russ, that is awesome!

What's your training routine? It sure seems to work great for you judging from the rate at which you're completing your goals.

What's your training routine? It sure seems to work great for you judging from the rate at which you're completing your goals.

Currently I'm doing about 5 heavy singles (sometimes more) with my goal gripper as well as other grip work. Then I take 2 days off and do a lighter workout doing 5-10 explosive singles with a gripper I can close fairly easily followed by max reps with either my #2 or 2.5. Sometimes I'll mix in some choker work with a gripper one level above my goal gripper as well depending on how I feel that day.
