Just curious as I am nearing the 200lbs mark

on the Rolling Thunder, what can everyone else

on here do that works out with the RT, and is

200lbs a good feat??

Currently I am doing 225 235 on the RT. This is after 2 years. I only do it every 2 or 3 weeks these days. I have done more than this in the past. I would say that 200 is good. What is your technique? Mine is to squeeze as hard as I can and lift with legs and not pull up with the arm.

200 is a good number Matt :). Do you use chalk?

Oldguy, try an inch replica. I have a feeling that you would fair well.

Old Guy, I do squeez as hard as I can with my hand

and stand up using legs.

Jim Wylie, I use very little if any chalk at all when doing

the RT, just a little to coat the palms of my hand

I have been working on this once a week for the last

year, but lately I have been doing it 2 times a week

seems to being going good for now, still moving up

at approx. 2 1/2 lbs a week

Jim, thickbar is what I am best at. I am mediocre at pinching, and so so with the grippers. In the next few days I will have my Inch loadable so that the plates cannot move. Then I will see how it goes. Unfortunately I do not have the use of an Inch replica.

I also should have my Inch adjustable bar arriving

soon, so I can start to practice on that, and in a few

weeks will have an Inch Replica, it may be a large

paper weight for now but soon I hope to lift it
