Thumb Pad Size

Norden

Recommended Posts

I'm using the 77 mm Ironmind Blockbuster pinchblock for pinching in order to get bigger thumb pads, just to help my gripper-training. However, will this do the job or will I need to get a telegraph key to see a notable difference in size of my thumb pads?

Buy a 2" pony clamp and a bag of rubberbands. Do negatives and add a rubberband or two everyday. Carry it around with you and shoot for a minimum of 20 good negs per day and your thumbpad with blow up in no time.

Is it a good idea to do this everyday? However, I think I'll keep using the pinchblock cause I like that exercise, I'm just wondering if my thumbpads will get any bigger by doing that.

I would guess that the block would be MUCH less effective because it's not dynamic.
