Guest wells
A 'shot put' I believe. A 'shot rotation' is the warm up exercise you see shot putters doing before they 'hurl' or 'put'. You place the shot in the palm of your hand... swing and spin your arm backward... twisting the wrist to prevent the shot from falling out of your hand... up and around... and down again. Then the other way which is harder to control. Excellent warm-up for the shoulders but when done repeatedly you will feel it in the forearms and wrists. Jonathan McMillan
Great book isn't it!!!! I got two 6lb shot putts from a local athletic retailer this is the smallest size I could find. I think some of the american distributers might have lighter ones too. I rotate two of these in my hand like the chineese health ball rotations. Give it a try it's quite fun.
