EricMilfeld
What seems to be the ideal amount of rest between your gripper workouts? Currently I'm resting 72 hours, but suspect I might be able to break out of this gripper rut by resting even longer. Guest Harlan Jacobs
I am right there with Eric. Two times per week for me.
amaury
If i want to feel strong in a workout i definitely must wait a few days. Now the question is: "is waiting until you feel strong the best way to build strength or just a way to DEMONSTRATE maximum strength during workouts ?" ?? Griparn
I feel best when training grippers every day, with some rest in between.

strongmitts
I agree with Amaury. I have done grippers twice a week and I have done grippers six times a week. I now work with grippers four days a week. I think this is a happy medium. My strength levels are usually pretty high during my workouts. I usually go M,T,W, off, F, off, off. When I get tired of these periods of frequent gripping I will go back to twice a week, but going a little harder during these sessions. Alternating these periods of twice a week and fours days a week has done well for me.
AnimalCage
Monday - Friday, off weekends. I think I need a 3-4 day rest period each month. As long as I can handle the volume, I want to go heavy for a while.
Sybersnott
Twice a week for me. I've tried it several different ways, but two times a week worked for me.
gollan
I've worked up to three grip sessions per week but I'm still trying to find the right level. I have a destructive tendency to do max-effort workouts every time instead of alternating hard and easy days. I am trying to control this bad habit with my grip training.
