Homemade Leverage "sledge Hammer" For Adjustable Weight

Recommended Posts

Made this with a wooden sledge handle, 1" steel rod and a 6” 5/16 bolt.

The bolt was inserted into a 1.5” hole drilled into the 1" steel rod and welded (epoxy would work but I would put a longer bolt deeper into the steel rod).

The rest of the bolt was inserted into hole drilled into the wood with some strong glue.

The red 1" collars were bought at a salvage store in flagstaff for $1 each.
