Cool. Let us know what you get, Ross - I'll be sure to pass it on to Ryan. ;)

Ryan stands a better chance of beating Paul at this comp than I do... Only 3 events hurts me when one is measuring crush strength lol.. I would prefer TNS all around on the Vulcan. I have not grasp the "set" yet... But then again I have not practiced it lol.

I've been competing more than practicing as of late.

I just like egging him on a bit. ;) Your grippers will come around soon.

Can someone please define a "good lift" on the Rolling Thunder...

I've seen some guys lift it... Get credit.. But nowhere near locking the weight out..

Rules are on IronMind's website:

I know what you mean. I have seen some weak calls as good lifts, and with top performers. In general, it is all about getting the "height" high enough. The referee should give a "down" signal as soon at the height is there. It is not really required to come down "under control", but the hand has to be on the handle all the way down.

Very strong lift, congratulations! On a side note my old IM handle rotates but it doesn't spin like the new handle!
