7x5/16 Easy Crs

This one is not that far from a red nail.

Took me two attempts to get it done so I edited the video.

The odd thing is that I have yet to bend this particular bar in either Ostlund style nor close grip DU with IMPs, if you can believe that.

I just feel like I get the bar so much deeper in my hands, so the bar is so much closer to the center of my wrists, which is where the power comes from. But with the mechanical advantage comes a high price, hurts the pinkies pretty bad :laugh . Felt like I had to peel them of the bar.

Crazy bend man! That's a lot strength AND PAIN TOLERANCE to do that. Congrats!

Thanks guys! I've been doing these off and on for some time. I feel they are a great way to condition your hands, at least your pinkies, for barehand bending.

Greg, you done any horseshoe bending lately?

Massive bend in the small pads David!!!:mosher

Ben, I think my memory might be unclear about this, but I seem to remember you mentioning that you bent some pretty big stuff in 2x2. I know those you certed on where bent DO. But I seem to remember a discussion of you also having done some DU bending in them.

Your memory is crystal clear David.:D I was stronger DU with the small pads but it hurt my winkies (weak pinkies) too much to do it more than a few times. My pinkies have since gotten stronger from some of the USAWA finger lifts - but my bad shoulder prevents DU bending now. I bent at least one 5/16"x7" CRS with the 2"x2" pads. It was the easy CRS from National at the time. National has since (in this area at least) gone to much harder CRS that I have attempted reverse lately and it's on par with a Red.

Awesome as always David! I like how you mention it is "easy" 5/16" CRS.....There is imo no such thing as "easy" crs. That is a wicked bend!
