One Step Closer The Coc Certification

Arne

Recommended Posts

Yesterday was my "officialy" closing day. Mikael Siversson was Iron Minds witness. I closed the CoC#3 gripper succesfully and held it closed for several seconds. I start the closing with the handles wide apart (the new rules). I'll try to get some good pictures next week.

"And, what does with "handles wide apart" mean?"

I think it may be what i do with the grippers: only holding the SPRING with my left hand* at the very beginning of the close. My closing hand thus do all the "sweep" work.

Anyway, congrats Arne ! :)

Amaury.

*When i close it with my right hand of course :tongue

Pretty soon the majority of the board members are going to be certified!!!

Well I know I won't be certifying any time soon.

One suspects that there will be no problem but if a picture is not foethcoming can I hear the key being inserted to 'lock' the post?

Sometimes the whole subject of grippers becomes a litte too serious. All I want to do is close a gripper that I cannot as yet close, or close more easily one that I can.

Thank You all again! My goal was to be certified before my 45th birthday. And I make it!
