EricMilfeld
I'm looking to purchase an easier #4 than the one I currently own. PM me if you have one for sale. Thanks.
OldGuy
Eric, how is it going to be established that the #4 is easier than the one you have?
EricMilfeld
Since the handles are all identical in length, I thought we could measure handle width and overall height of the gripper to determine how deeply set the spring is. Tom Black covers this subject on his site. Basically I'm looking for a gripper with a higher spring, and after locating one I'll just hope for the best. Sybersnott
Eric, I wish you luck on your search. Your best bet might be #4 grippers made about 1 to 3 years ago, as I heard that those grippers were "easier" than some others. Really, there is no easy #4. AnimalCage
Ain't no hiding the fact that I just bid on this one. It'll make a great addition to my paperweight collection.
AnimalCage
Okay, confession time! Who is "bodiesnmotion"? And why are they bidding $25.00 for the #4 on eBay? I hope beyond hope that it's nobody on here!! My max bid was $11.50.
