OTTOEMEZZO
Does anyone have this? Sounds interesting, but I'm curious how much weight people can lift on this and if the surface is slippery, or does it take chalk well?

OTTOEMEZZO
How slick is the apparatus? Is it closer to Euro 2HP slickness or that of IM Pinch Block? Does chalk help with it?
twig
It's well worth buying. Nuff said!
boulderingbadass
How slick is the apparatus? Is it closer to Euro 2HP slickness or that of IM Pinch Block? Does chalk help with it? First off I agree with Twig. Second, it starts pretty slick (as do pretty much all of John's products) but I stripped the paint off of two of the plates and I just always use them for the outside. Now it takes chalk very well and it's a very good tool. It takes a bit of getting used to because it is massively heavy compared to other similar devices which makes it feel a bit awkward at first but its a great device.
