steve0
Today I finally hub lifted a new 45 I just purchased. It came up easier then I thought it would and I got it on each of my last three sets. Taking on the blob next, any advice? I have small hands, just under 8" from the base my wrist to the tip on my middle finger.

steve0
Today I did some more hub work. I got 47.5 up for a five second hold. 50 came off the floor but I could not lock out with it. 5 easy reps with each hand with the 45. What is considered a good number on this lift. I have different sized plates and was wondering what is considered the standard of hub sizes for this lift.

Shallow hub?? Tapered hub? Wide hub??
steve0
Here are the hubs that I use. The Jack Lalane plates are just under 3/4" on their hubs and slightly taperes. The gray 35 is 1". The 45 is about 1/8" shy of 1". I add weights using 1 1/4 lb plates. Its kind of funny, my new goal is to lift one of the Jack Lalane 45 I have. I can barely budge the Lalane 35 off the ground.
