User99 Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I've attached an eye-bolt to a softball to attempt to replicate "The Bomb". I've used it a few times, just messing around because I'm not exactly sure how to work out with it. I have a 25lb plate on it and try to hold on to it for as long as possible, but I'm at >60 seconds for both hands. Does anyone here use The Bomb (or the softball rig) to work out? How would you recommend using it in a routine? Should I pile on the weight and just try to deadlift it? Should I try to only hold it for a certain amount of time? 10 sec? 30 sec? Also, for anyone that has "the bomb" - Does a softball get close to replicating the size of it? I know the one to cert on is 8lb. Do you think that if I would be able to DL 85lbs on the softball that it would cross over to DL 75lbs on the bomb? Quote Kevin Richmond Richmond, VA
