Plate Pinching Idea

I don't know, maybe I felt inspired to get creative after reading Brookfield's new book, anyways here's my training idea...apologies to anyone who has already discussed this somewhere else, I came up with this on my own.

After my usual plate pinching routine I then took two 25lb olympic plates and slid them through a safety bar in my power cage. I then stood on my bench and lifted the plates and pulled isometrically against the bar. It felt great, give it a try and see what you think!

Wow, that's interesting. Resistance that responds to your strength level, AND no fear of droping a plate on your toes. I'll give it a try this afternoon.
