the swiss
here's another one: other link it is not directly grip related, but I think most of us here agree that tendon strength is primordial in grip. Anyway, any ideas how to do plyometrics with grip? would fast gripper closes work? david
The Mac
David, I think fast gripper closes (on a "light" gripper) are very effective, when done correctly, but I'm not sure how you would duplicate the "bouncing" effect of plyometrics for the hands - bouncing fingertip push-ups? the swiss
how about (with the grippers), closing the gripper halfway, letting go a little and then explosively close it? Not very sure how effective that would be, as it would probably affect the speed of closure considerably, unless you use a very light gripper. this could also be done with the TTK, I presume. maybe with a sledgehammer, lowering it a little and then levering it explosively? all looks pretty dangerous to me! anyone tried this?
