John Wood
Fair is fair... Mobster should be invited to the Arnold and his trip paid for by Terry Todd. Lets get the lobby going fellas!!!
Sybersnott
Make that both Steve AND John Wood! I second that motion!

The Mac
Oh Yes, you are..... Oh, this is starting to sound like pantomine... Mobster, as one of the two men to "lift" the MDB, and as it is 50% your baby, I will be dissapointed (although not suprised) if you are not asked to attend as a matter of course. mobsterone
Mark Henry said 'you should come to the dinner' (meaning the AOBS) stating 'there's a lot of Captains of Crush there'. He did add, sorry guys but he did say it, 'they couldn't lift the Inch'. But you guys did admit that and I suspect some secret and not so secret hard work has been taking place. Tom Black
That's not entirely accurate about the Inch at the Dinner. At least John Wood and Richard Sorin lifted it. Interestingly, they were the only two not to have closed #3 grippers all night long. Considering how easily Heath reportedly lifted the Inch recently there is no doubt in my mind that the Inch would have been lifted by a few more that night. Steve, I'm not sure what the plans are for the Dinner this year, not even sure who's running it, but it would be great to meet you there. mobsterone
You are right about Richard. I hadn't heard about John as I read the report in Iron Game History. Sorry John.
John Wood
Just for clarity I did close a few number threes at the dinner. I closed Steve's (3crushers) and held it for about 30 seconds when we were first introduced. Later on I closed someone elses for six reps and could have done more. I believe It was the same gripper that Heath closed for 15 reps. Sybersnott saw this one as he congratulated me after I did it. In any case, come on Mobster, throw your hat in the ring!! -John
Sybersnott
..... 'they couldn't lift the Inch'..... What?!? Hey, I DID lift it.... with two hands, of course!!
Roger LaPointe
I also saw John Wood close the #3 Gripper a number of times at the dinner. In fact, I also saw him close one several times at York Barbell that morning. The guy at the front desk was pretty shocked, because John had absolutely no problem doing it. terminator
Roger, welcome aboard my friend. Pat
3Crusher
This is to back up what John Wood wrote. He took one of my #3 grippers, and mashed it for a long time, as his dad Kim looked on with a big smile. John is a very humble and nice guy with lots of potential that I know he won't let go to waste. Rock on John!! Roger-Nice to see you on the GripBoard. Thanks to your fine products, I get really stoned on a regular basis. Steve Weiner
