hiteck88
Hi I can close my 2.5 gripper quite easyly, but how long does it usually take to go from the 2.5 to the 3 gripper?
mobsterone
Check the FAQ for wire sizes and RGC calculations of gripper strength for the difference. As for how long? Dunno, back when I did the 3 we didn't have the half sizes.
Captain Sam
Hi. First of all its a huge difference between #2,5 to the mighty #3. The difference is way bigger than from the #2 to the #2,5. That being said, it took me 2 months to go from the #2 to the #2,5 and 4 months to go from the #2,5 to the #3. I didnt do any KTA or something that might have sped the proces up. I just aplied the usual trainingphilosopy of doing a little more each time and climbing a lot "on the side" Keep plugging away and the result will come... Martin Gaisser
Well one thing that's going to make the biggest difference is if you have hard or easy grippers. You probably need to try a couple more of each to get a better idea of where your at. I've got one #3 that's as hard as one of my #3.5's and a #4 that's almost as hard as my BB Pro. Have you had your HARD #3 calibrated? I've never seen a #4 as hard as a regular spread Pro. Calibrated that is. If you haven't had these 2 grippers calibrated how are you coming to these conclusions? Not being hard here, just curious.

I guess it really doesn't matter though, seeing as both of these grippers are merely paper weights for me anyway!!!!!
