OldGuy
I have made myself a non revolving 2 3/8'' handle to practise very heavy lifts with poundages far greater than on the RT. I used a 6'' pipe nipple that is 2 3/8" O.D. To this I fixed a U bolt . It works great and can hold any amount of weight. http://home.bellsouth.net/coDataImages/p/G...5240Aut0552.jpg

The Mac
Old Guy, Doesn't the U bolt get in the way of your fingers? OR am I missing something vital here, not apparent in the picture, which is what I expect.....
OldGuy
The U bolt does not get in the way of the fingers. An eyebolt could also be used. I figured the U might be stronger.
The Mac
Just me missing something easy again, then. I think I forgot it was a 2 3/8" handle. Please let us know how you go on it. Thanks for the reply.
